Big week in the patch
Problems ????
I noticed some of the new leaves growing have had yellow spots and stunted growth. I sprayed with a fungicide to try and head off a potential show stopper.
But enough of that... It has been a fast growing week.
7/15/2008 circumference 38 inches = 23.8 lbs
7/17 circumference = 47 inches = 42.7 lbs
7/19 circumference = 55 inches = 66.8 lbs

The Pumpkin Grows
My neighbor Paul's Pumpkin patch.

This is the one for him.
My Pumpkin

32 inches around.

24 inches across the top.
This gives it an estimated of ??? It has not reached the charts yet. But a good guess would be 10 pounds.

You can see it hiding in there.

The paver update.

I finished the area towards the gate.

Garden updates

This plant is getting big. I have run out of room. It will have to find its own place on the hill now. The main part of the plant will have to provide the water.

This one I can make room for on the up hill side by digging out the hill.

A couple of busy bees at work.
The rest of the garden

Egg plant, cucumber, and grape tomatoes

Bell pepper, green bean, and more tomatoes

Zucchini, yellow squash, more cucumbers, and a cayenne pepper

Butternut squash, watermelon, banana peppers, carrots
