Sprouting news!!!

Another week has passed and the plant has broken into view. The weather has been warm and should hit 100 today. It should cool back down some this week. It is in a 6" pot and I have it placed under a drip line in the garden for now. We leave for a week vacation tomorrow and I hope the watering system holds. I do have two more seed growing in backup. They left the bag for a pot today. They will be used to try for carving pumpkins for the grandkids.

Well we have a little progress. The seed I set in a window has started to sprout. It is time to transfer it to a pot. I placed it under a drip line in my garden to make sure it gets regular water.

The pumpkin bed it ready. It is just waiting for a plant. I will put the drip line in it when there is a plant to water.

I am going to try and grow a Giant pumpkin. My neighbor grew a 200lb one last year and gave me some seeds. Here is the start of something big!!!
